Hi, my name is Carolina Dacy, welcome to my portfolio. My portfolio is a curated selection of my work which serves as a spotlight of my growth as a designer. I was born in Panama City, Panama, I spent most of my childhood in England, attended high school here in California, and am currently finishing my degree at SDSU. All this has served to influence my approach to design by giving me a wide range of experiences to draw design solutions from.
Some of the highlights of my career have been; an art piece exhibited at the SDSU downtown gallery, for the Transforming Existence exhibit. I have also exhibited a piece during SDSU's Art Pop event. I have volunteered multiple times for events at the SDSU gallery to help set up both the Transforming Existence exhibit, and the Give-and-Take: Poster Design by Nancy Skolos & Thomas Wedell exhibit. I also participated in a workshop Nancy Skolos & Thomas Weddell held during their exhibition. Having a great interest in creating a solid community of skill sharing and growth amongst my fellow students, I was chosen as the Membership Officer of SDSU’s AIGA student branch.
